2024 Brinkley Model Z Owner’s Quick Start & Overview

Thank You 0:00 hey everyone Brendan from Brinkley RV 0:02...

Thank You
0:00
hey everyone Brendan from Brinkley RV
0:02
here I want to thank you for the
0:03
purchase of your new Brinkley RV I'm
0:05
going to be giving you a quick
0:06
walkthrough of the model Z behind me
0:08
some of the features I'm going to show
0:10
you will vary depending on floor plan
0:11
and if you want any more in-depth videos
0:13
you can find that on the owners Hub on
0:15
our website
Campside Passthough Storage Compartment
0:20
so just by your door side baggage door
Exterior LP Quick Connect, Antenna/Satilight Coax
0:23
underneath your skirt metal you have
0:24
your LP quick connect and then just on
0:27
the inside you have your satellite coax
0:30
to the left your outlet just to the left
Swiches for Underbody & Passthough Storage Lighting
0:32
of that you have your underbody lights
0:34
and your pass-through light switch and
Exterior Speaker Controls
0:36
then just below you have the controller
0:38
for your exterior speakers in this bag
0:41
is going to be all the directions to
Spray Port Wash Down Connections
0:43
pair your phone and then just to the
0:45
right is your hot and cold water hookup
Basement Access, Converter, Water Pump, Shower Shut-Offs
0:47
just to the right are your sliding
0:49
pass-through access doors that are
0:51
removable so if you do need to get back
0:53
there you do have access your converter
0:55
is back there as well which basically
0:57
turns your Shore power into 12 volt to
0:59
charge your batteries if you are having
1:01
an issue with that there are two fuses
1:03
on that that would be a great spot to
1:05
check your water pump is also back there
1:07
along with the shutoffs for your shower
Spare Tire & Manual Slideout Crank
1:09
so over here on the other side of the
1:11
pass-through this is going to be your
1:13
crank for your manual override of your
1:15
slide outs and to drop down your spare
Battery Disconnect (Road/Travel Mode)
1:17
tire and in between that is one of two
1:20
battery disconnect this is what we call
1:21
Road mode so it's going to kill
1:23
everything but your safety features your
1:26
solar your Jacks and your refrigerator
1:28
and the easy way to tell which one this
1:30
is is that the battery disconnect here
1:32
is located a lot further from the
1:33
battery the one a lot closer is going to
1:35
be your kills all which we'll talk about
LP System & Compartments, Front Jacks
1:36
so here in your LP compartment
1:39
the model Z is going to come with two 30
1:42
pound tanks one here one on the other
1:44
side you can fit 40s and in a pinch you
1:47
can fit a 20 pound tank as well that's
1:48
why this bottom strap is so low your
1:50
tanks do come equipped with lpiq it's a
1:53
really simple method to be able to see
1:54
how much LP you have left in your tank
1:56
to open and close super simple
2:02
and then over to the right hand side
2:04
here you will see your leveling jacks
2:06
one here one on the other side you do
2:08
have nice easy access to the manual
2:10
override up top you just have a socket
2:12
on there and you can crank it up or down
Fifth Wheel Hitch & Saftey Cable
2:14
so up front the model Z is going to come
2:16
with the Rhino box fifth wheel hitch
2:18
over to the side is going to be your
2:20
Breakaway switch your main disconnect
2:22
does have to be on for this to work and
2:25
you want to make sure that this is
2:26
hooked up to your truck so if anything
2:27
were to happen comes off the hitch this
2:30
is going to lock up your brakes if it
2:31
pulls away so on the backhand side here
2:34
is going to be your seven-way connector
2:36
you want again you want to make sure
2:38
this is plugged in this is going to
2:39
control your brake lights your brakes
2:41
and then your backup camera will be
2:43
powered off this as well up front in
2:45
your bulkhead storage here will open
2:46
your baggage door and you have two
2:48
latches up here to hold your baggage
2:50
door open
2:51
now once we're in here on the left hand
2:53
side we have our battery box that is
2:55
recessed and it's big enough for two
2:57
group 27 batteries and then on top or
3:00
your positive and negative connections
3:02
as well to make accessing that super
3:04
easily up top you'll see the big
3:06
positive going to your second battery
3:08
disconnect and that's going to be your
3:10
kill all or storage mode to make sure
3:12
everything's wiped out when you do put
3:14
it in storage over to the right hand
3:16
side is going to be your 50 amp mppt
3:19
charge controller that's going to be run
3:21
off your solar right here is going to be
3:24
your battery selection so if you have
3:25
AGM you want to select AGM lithium you
3:27
want to select lithium super simple so
3:29
up here is going to be the brain for
3:31
your TST tire pressure monitoring system
3:33
it is banded if this light is off and
3:36
you're having any issues you can take
3:37
this cover off and your mini breaker
3:39
bars behind that just make sure all your
3:41
connections are nice and tight
3:43
up above it is going to be our inverter
3:45
prep so we have our 12 volt wires the
3:48
area for your t-fuse and then over here
3:50
is your 110 Loop that will actually get
3:52
fastened into the inverter and on the
3:55
left hand side is where those two plugs
3:57
are actually going to connect into to
3:58
make your inverter work properly if you
4:00
need any more in-depth videos on the
4:02
inverter itself you can go to our
4:04
owner's Hub it'll give you a nice
4:05
walkthrough of how exactly to install
4:07
that inverter on the right hand side is
4:10
our generator accessory wiring so we're
4:12
going to give you the wiring to hook up
4:14
a generator you would have to add the
4:15
Gen box the gas lines and the exhaust
4:18
but we gave you the wiring which is a
4:20
big tough part over here is going to be
4:23
the brain for your slim rack slide
4:26
mechanism for your bed slide and if you
4:28
look closely it'll show you all the
4:30
fault codes and all the flashing numbers
4:32
so if you are having an issue with your
4:34
bedside you can come in here you can
4:36
count the amount of flashes and
4:37
basically it'll be super easy to
4:39
troubleshoot just above that is going to
4:42
be the brain for our leveling system so
4:45
if you're having any issues you know
4:47
with something not working you have four
4:49
30 amp fuses this is a great spot to
4:51
check to make sure that all your fuses
4:53
are live make sure all your connections
4:54
are tight but that will be the brain for
4:57
your auto level
4:58
so that's going to sum up the bulkhead
5:00
storage if you guys have any questions
5:02
want more in-depth videos on how to
5:05
install or troubleshoot you can go ahead
5:06
and go onto our owner's Hub and it'll
5:08
give you a nice walk through on how to
5:10
operate and troubleshoot anything in
5:12
this bulkhead storage all right so as we
5:14
come over to the other side here I want
5:15
to point out our two labels here this is
5:18
going to show you your weights it's
5:20
going to give you tire specifications
5:21
tire pressures and if you want to learn
5:23
more about chalking your wheels torquing
5:26
your wheels anything related to your
5:27
wheels and tires you can go in your
5:29
owner's manual there will be a certain
5:30
section along with our owner's Hub we'll
5:32
walk you through all those processes as
5:34
well into the lp baggage door here you
5:37
have your second 30 pound tank again you
5:40
can add a 20 if you get in a pinch you
5:42
forget to fill your LP tanks go down to
5:44
the gas station you can go ahead and fit
5:46
that right in here here is your
5:49
two-stage LP regulator so right now
5:52
we're pointed to the right so that's
5:54
going to be your door side tank if you
5:56
turn this to the left it's going to be
5:57
this tank here right now now the label
5:59
is red so that means that there's no LP
6:01
in the lines as soon as you fill a tank
6:03
turn it on that's going to actually go
6:05
to Black which is going to notify you
6:07
that there now is LP in the lines up
6:10
front is going to be your other Jack leg
6:12
as well and again you have a nice easy
6:14
manual override and you can find that
6:16
video on the owner Hub as well so in
6:18
your off door side pass-through you have
6:20
your leveling screen here so once you
6:23
get to your Campground you're ready to
6:25
level out your unit you're going to go
6:26
up front pull the pin on your two front
6:28
legs drop them to your desired height or
6:30
the ground so you're going to power the
6:32
screen on and then you're going to just
6:34
press the front button this is going to
6:36
raise the front end so you're able to
6:38
pull away from the front so you get it
6:40
to the right height you pull your truck
6:42
away close everything up all you're
6:44
going to do is press auto level it is
6:46
going to drop down the rear legs take
6:48
the front to a leveled height it's going
6:50
to be good to go you don't have to do
6:52
anything from there just power the
6:53
screen off once you're done ready to
6:55
head home order your next campsite
6:57
you're going to power the screen on and
6:59
all you're going to do is press left and
7:00
right this is going to retract the rear
7:02
Jacks and take the front end to the same
7:04
exact height that you pulled your truck
7:06
away from originally so it's called
7:08
hitch memory it's going to make your
7:10
life super easy Once you are hooked up
7:12
you're going to go ahead and press
7:14
retract all that is going to raise all
7:16
the Jacks to the right height all the
7:18
way up and then you're good to go so
7:20
just on the inside of the baggage door
7:21
you do have all the instructions for
7:24
that control panel you also can utilize
7:26
the app on your phone the one control to
7:29
level it if you're up front and you also
7:31
can utilize the owner's Hub if you do
7:33
have any more questions about your auto
7:35
level alright so on your utility Center
7:37
up top you're going to have your two
7:38
dump valves your gray on the left black
7:40
on the right you do have a 5 amp
7:43
resettable fuse and if something were to
7:45
happen on your underbelly you have a
7:47
hatch you can drop down and it's going
7:48
to give you direct access to actually
7:49
manual override your valve so super
7:52
simple down below you're gonna have your
7:54
hot and cold outdoor shower satellite
7:57
cable and aux to your bedroom right here
8:00
and just below it are your five controls
8:03
for the different settings you want to
8:04
want to do Camp wise so depending on
8:06
what you want to do the picture is going
8:08
to show you exactly where to put the
8:10
knobs and there is a nice in-depth video
8:11
on our owner's Hub on how to operate it
8:14
to get it to exactly the settings you
8:16
want below is our city water inlet which
8:19
is basically going to fill your fresh
8:21
tank or you can utilize this just to
8:23
pull from City water over to the right
8:25
hand side is going to be your black tank
8:27
flush so we actually have three types of
8:29
Tanks you have your fresh you have your
8:31
gray and you have your black so your
8:33
Grays are going to be your showers your
8:35
sink your washer dryer your Black's
8:37
going to be your waist and then your
8:38
fresh obviously is going to be the fresh
8:40
water for your sinks and your shower
8:42
connected to it is our 65 foot hose
8:45
which is retractable pulls out so you
8:48
don't have to wind up a hose anymore if
8:50
something were to happen you do have
8:52
easy access to it if you pull off this
8:54
wall you can replace it you can rewind
8:56
it whatever you need to do so just off
8:58
to the side you have your 110 outlet and
9:00
then directly below is a QR code that
9:03
you can scan with your phone which is
9:04
going to take you to our owner's Hub and
9:06
basically it'll have detailed videos of
9:08
how exactly to operate our utility
9:10
Center and then down below in our saddle
9:12
bag you would turn this Rotator you take
9:15
this hook up to City Water you can
9:16
actually run that out of the bottom so
9:18
you can keep your baggage door closed
9:19
right here is your furion on-demand hot
9:21
water heater and the controller for that
9:23
is in the bathroom we'll get to that
9:25
here in a little bit over to the right
9:27
is going to be your furnace and these
9:29
exhaust vents here you want to make sure
9:30
these are clean before you go ahead and
9:32
use your hot water heater and your
9:34
furnace so you're good to go to the
9:36
right is going to be your 50 amp
9:38
connection
9:39
down below is your single point for
9:42
terminating your black and your gray
9:43
tanks and then to the right is going to
9:45
be your sewage hose holder so I'm going
9:46
to be showing you how to hook up the 50
9:48
amp power cord it is stored in your
9:50
front bulkhead storage so I got it on
9:52
the ground here I'm going to go ahead
9:53
and unwind it take this end that's going
9:56
to go into your unit and before you plug
9:58
it in make sure you completely unwind
10:00
the cord you'll pop open the cover of
10:03
your 50 amp and you'll see these little
10:04
knobs right on there so you'll find your
10:06
locator
10:07
pop it in there and you are going to
10:09
rotate it to the right and then twist
10:11
your locking cap on
10:13
good to go then you'll take the other
10:15
end go to your 50 amp hookup plug it in
10:17
and you should be good to go so before
10:19
you run your slide outs in you want to
10:21
make sure that your side walls are clean
10:22
your wiper seals are clean there's no
10:25
obstructions on your roof make sure
10:27
there's no sticks anything get up there
10:28
wipe it off cleaning your wiper seals
10:30
you can use soapy water same with your
10:33
slide out end walls making sure those
10:34
are nice and clean and now coming back
10:37
on your Fender skirt here you can see a
10:39
cut out this is going to be accessed to
10:40
manually override your door side slide
10:43
out you'll have two more accesses over
10:44
there one for this slide and then to
10:47
drop your spare tire down the crank to
10:49
manually override these is actually in
10:51
your pass-through is over by your second
10:52
battery disconnect so now that we've
10:55
made it to the back of the coach we have
10:56
a rear storage on this model and that is
10:59
going to vary depending on the floor
11:01
plan but on the 3100 it does have it
11:03
just below we have our two inch receiver
11:05
hitch it's rated for 300 pounds carry
11:07
and 3 000 pounds Towing and you have
11:10
your floor way flat here that you can
11:12
use to hook up to a trailer or a bike
11:14
rack that has lights
11:16
off to the right you have your ladder to
11:18
access the roof it is rated for 250
11:21
pounds so this is going to allow you to
11:23
eat up there check your seals check your
11:25
vents just make sure everything's good
11:26
to go before you start your trip so up
11:28
top you'll have your furion backup
11:30
camera it's powered by your battery and
11:32
your seven-way when you're hooked up to
11:33
the truck and it does come with a seven
11:35
inch screen that you can put in the
11:37
caviar truck so you can view what's
11:38
going on going down the road
11:40
so as I mentioned on the other side for
11:42
the manual overrides this one is going
11:44
to be for the override for your off door
11:45
side slide out and then this cutout will
11:47
be to drop down your spare tire for any
11:50
in-depth videos of how to override your
11:52
slides or drop your spare tire down you
11:53
can go ahead and find that on our
11:54
owner's Hub on the website all right so
11:56
now that we've made it to your campsite
11:58
I have one of our awnings out you can
11:59
use your Smart Control Center to operate
12:02
it or the app on your phone we got it
12:04
out I'll show you how to tilt it you're
12:06
going to pull the leg down and then
12:07
you're going to tighten that screw so if
12:09
it's sprinkling the water is going to
12:11
roll off one side not pool up in the
12:12
middle when it comes to running them in
12:14
make sure they're clean dry and then
12:16
you're good to go and retract them if
12:17
it's a windy day and your awning is
12:19
flapping up and down make sure to
12:20
retract your awning so you don't have to
12:22
worry about any issues so here at the
12:24
entrance store you'll see you do have
12:25
keyless entry it'll come with redundant
12:27
Keys as well so you can utilize that it
12:29
will come preset with a code that you
12:31
can find in our manual and you can
12:34
change it to whatever it is you desire
12:35
on the inside you have your screen
12:38
Defender your screenshot and and your
12:40
screen assist along with the Blackout
12:42
Shade on the door
12:45
on the inside we will go ahead and fold
12:48
out
12:48
your axis steps
12:51
flip down the steps you're good to go in
12:53
and the handrail it is pinned for
12:56
Transit you got to make sure that you do
12:57
that pop it out
13:00
and you're good to go and this pin can
13:01
store in one of the drawers on the
13:03
inside so on the entrance steps your
13:05
legs are adjustable so depending on the
13:07
elevation you can pull this pin you can
13:09
extend or retract the legs on your steps
13:11
now let's go in and check out the inside
13:13
so behind this door just as you walk
13:15
into the entrance door is going to be
13:17
your smart Command Center so this is
13:19
going to show you your tank levels your
13:21
battery percentage along with a handful
13:24
lights awning ceiling scare water pump
13:27
tank heater down below are going to be
13:29
your awning controls and then your slide
13:30
controls as well so just below that you
13:33
have another QR code which is going to
13:35
again take you to the owner sub and walk
13:37
you through videos pertaining everything
13:39
in this area below you have your dimmer
13:42
switch for the main living room area off
13:45
to the right is going to be your max air
13:46
fan controller which is directly above
13:48
your stove and then your battery monitor
13:51
here which is going to tell you your
13:52
percentage and then the voltage of your
13:53
battery as well so inside the door here
13:55
you have the sticker for our safe ride
13:57
24 7 roadside assistance call that
13:59
number it'll base basically walk you
14:00
through everything just below is going
14:02
to be the pairing codes for your
14:04
speakers and for the inside one there's
14:06
nothing you have to turn on it's going
14:08
to just show up in your Bluetooth
14:09
settings as brv Z and then the last four
14:12
of your VIN all right so here in your
14:14
dinette slide depending on our floor
14:16
plans you may have a four person dinette
14:19
like this maybe a booth right now we
14:21
just have the dinette so you have your
14:23
ottoman over here which is removable
14:24
right now we have it strapped for the
14:26
road mode which we will give you a
14:27
closer look on your backrest is just
14:30
magnetized to the wall so it's easily
14:31
removable
14:32
on the window
14:34
to open it is just the crank located on
14:37
the bottom side righty tighty lefty
14:39
Loosey
14:40
your screens your bug screen will pull
14:43
up from the bottom your blackout is
14:45
going to come from the top and it is
14:47
reflective foiled on the backhand side
14:49
so if it's a really hot day make sure to
14:51
pull these down help to keep it cool in
14:53
here and they do magnetize together so
14:56
if you want half and half you do that
14:57
you have that option as well so here you
14:59
have your two dinette chairs that are in
15:01
Road mode you're going to take this
15:02
right one put the leg into the bracket
15:04
on the sidewall and then you're gonna
15:05
actually strap the two chairs together
15:07
so now they're fastened down you don't
15:09
have to worry about it moving going down
15:10
the road so here in your theater seats
15:12
you have your heat you have USB on the
15:15
inside of the arm you have your lever to
15:17
release the legs and then you can
15:18
recline you have your phone charger here
15:22
it all it is also waterproof so you
15:24
can't set a drink in it you also have
15:26
storage under the center section as well
15:28
in the rear you have two end tables you
15:31
have storage in the front if you press
15:32
down on the back side you do have
15:34
Outlets that pop up you do have a
15:36
tri-fold sofa here and you can reference
15:38
our owner's Hub which has a nice video
15:40
on how exactly to fold this thing out
15:42
behind us we have an egress window and
15:45
you will have a few of these in your
15:46
coach once we get to the bedroom I'll
15:48
show you how this operates so over here
15:50
in the entertainment area this layout
15:52
will vary depending on floor plan but we
15:55
have a televator here and the switch is
15:57
usually located under a nearby cabinet
16:00
you can see it's coming up just above it
16:02
you have an entertainment shelf off to
16:04
the left hand side you have HDMI coax
16:07
hookup and then an outlet for anything
16:08
you would want to hook up behind it you
16:11
have a fireplace located down below
16:13
there will be a nice remote in your
16:15
owner's bag that you can utilize this
16:17
from the sofa
16:18
all right so here in your residential
16:20
kitchen you're gonna have your two pull
16:22
out trash cans here with your paper
16:24
towel holder
16:26
off to the right you're going to have
16:27
your residential microwave and the glass
16:29
plate in there does need to be fastened
16:31
down before you hit the road whether
16:32
that's in a cabinet drawer or you tape
16:35
it down somewhere in the microwave below
16:37
you have your stove top and your oven
16:39
you want to make sure you purge the
16:41
lines before you use this thing so you
16:43
fill it up fresh with LP Purge the lines
16:46
you should be good to go
16:47
back here you're going to have your
16:50
built-in spice rack and if you don't
16:51
want to utilize this you just pull it up
16:53
it is easily removable and then you have
16:55
a nice big open cabinet for you to use
16:58
under the sink
17:00
you will see that there are two shut off
17:02
valves and those are going to be located
17:04
at every fixture so your kitchen sink
17:06
your toilet your bathroom sink you'll
17:08
see the ones in the pass-through
17:09
basement for your shower and then along
17:12
with your washer dryer so it's nice good
17:15
look under there for that so here on
17:16
your reefer up top you will see your
17:18
travel lock which you can twist off
17:21
and then you have a conveniently located
17:22
magnet just inside the cabinet to the
17:25
left of the refrigerator don't have to
17:27
worry about losing it to power this
17:29
thing on you're going to hold the
17:30
function button for about five to ten
17:32
seconds and then for any other function
17:34
questions there's a sticker on the
17:36
inside of the right hand door you can
17:38
also reference our owner's Hub again
17:40
there will be a nice long video walking
17:41
through all the functions of your
17:43
refrigerator
17:44
so here in the pantry you have your
17:46
shelves that are fully adjustable you
17:49
remove the Fastener on each side and you
17:51
can move it up or down on the bracket
17:52
there is a nice video to show you how
17:54
exactly to do it you have an outlet in
17:55
the center and then down below is going
17:57
to be a white Rotator that's going to be
17:59
access to an inch and a half wire Chase
18:01
from your roof down into your basement
18:03
so if you want to add solar dish you
18:06
have a nice conduit from the roof to the
18:08
basement you don't have to make any cuts
18:09
the location of that Rotator and the
18:11
chase will vary depending on floor plan
18:13
but on the 3100 it is under the bottom
18:16
shelf so here in your Hutch if you open
18:18
these two drawers it'll be a handful of
18:20
different accessories for your unit so
18:22
your backup camera screen for your truck
18:24
your TST tire pressure monitoring system
18:27
screen a few extra brackets for your
18:29
wardrobe drawer and then the remote for
18:32
your fireplace and the cabinet below
18:35
is going to be your owner's bag which is
18:37
going to have a handful of remotes
18:39
different instructions for the
18:41
appliances inside your unit along with
18:43
your owner's manual and warranty guide
18:46
all right so on your Hutch lower here
18:48
usually your fuses are going to be
18:49
located somewhere centrally in the unit
18:51
on the 3100 they are here these are your
18:54
12 volt fuses right there so if you're
18:56
having an issue with anything that runs
18:57
on 12 volt be sure to check your fuses
18:59
there and then your 110 Breakers are
19:02
located just to the right so if you're
19:04
having an issue with anything 110 make
19:06
sure your Breakers aren't tripped again
19:07
Sentry locate is going to be a fire
19:09
extinguisher as well on the 3100 it's
19:11
just to the left hand side of your
19:12
entrance Door all right so here in your
19:14
bathroom you have your toilet paper
19:16
holder that is actually magnetized to
19:18
the wall so for Transit make sure it is
19:20
good to go on the right hand side of
19:22
your toilet you have that shut off valve
19:24
again like you saw in the kitchen
19:26
in your linen closet you'll see this
19:28
screen here and this is for your
19:29
on-demand hot water heater it's super
19:31
simple on the right hand side you'll
19:33
press on you have an option below for
19:35
Fahrenheit or Celsius and then you have
19:37
up and down on the left hand side so you
19:39
can select your desired temperature so a
19:41
travel lock for your shower door super
19:43
simple you can lock it here or on the
19:45
other side I'm going to show you here
19:46
for video purposes but you get it all to
19:48
one side
19:50
and now your shower door is locked in
19:51
ready for Transit so above your sink you
19:54
have a recessed vanity
19:56
you have a towel holder so here you have
19:58
the GFI outlet in the bathroom if some
20:00
of the outlets in your coach aren't
20:02
working make sure to come in here to the
20:03
bathroom and make sure that this isn't
20:05
tripped if it is reset it you should be
20:07
good to go up to the right hand side is
20:09
the max air fan controller and it is a
20:12
rain sensor so if it is starting to
20:13
sprinkle it'll notice it and
20:15
automatically close the vent for you and
20:17
then again under the sink you have those
20:19
same shutoffs you saw on the toilet and
20:21
under the kitchen sink
20:22
all right so just inside the door is the
20:25
thermostat controller for your main air
20:27
conditioner to power it on you're going
20:29
to hold the power slash mode button we
20:31
currently have it set at cool and to
20:32
change the mode you're going to just
20:33
press the power button once now we're on
20:35
heat and to get the furnace to work you
20:37
want to make sure the fan speed is on
20:39
off otherwise your fan is going to be
20:40
running along with your furnace to go to
20:43
the next mode press it again now that's
20:44
our fan you can change the speed by the
20:47
fan button now or high low high again
20:50
change the mode dry that's a
20:52
dehumidifying mode and to change your
20:54
desired interior temp you have your up
20:56
button and on the right hand side you
20:58
have your lower button
21:00
and power back off hold the power button
21:03
and you're good to go
21:05
so now that we made it into the bedroom
21:07
just as you walk through the door you're
21:09
going to have your second thermostat for
21:11
your bedroom air conditioner functions
21:13
just as the same as the one as I showed
21:14
you and then just below it is the light
21:16
switch for the bedroom and it is on a
21:18
dimmer switch so you can brighten and
21:21
dim the bedroom so above your bedroom TV
21:24
is going to be your antenna booster if
21:26
you're having issues with that you can
21:28
drop that cover down make sure all your
21:30
connections are tight if you're hooked
21:32
up to satellite or cable you want to
21:34
make sure that that booster is off to
21:36
the right hand side is going to be your
21:37
coax and then power for your TV as well
21:39
if you need to remove the TV and access
21:41
any of that there is a pin on the
21:43
backhand side you pop it up and the
21:46
bracket will slide to the right and off
21:48
comes the TV
21:49
so below it is your second egress window
21:52
into how to open it you release those
21:54
two tabs that will pop in you can either
21:56
lock it there or these will actually go
21:58
all the way out in case you need to
22:00
escape for any escape plans and safety
22:03
items you can find that in your owner's
22:05
manual bring it back in
22:07
pop it in
22:10
boom you're good to go so in your top
22:13
wardrobe here for your stackable washer
22:15
dryer prep that is a road tear behind
22:18
his access for your dryer vent two
22:20
outlets are for your washer and your
22:22
dryer below you have your hot hookup
22:24
your cold hookup and then your drain for
22:26
your washer to install you do need to
22:29
remove these shelves and this style does
22:32
have to come out it can be reinstalled
22:34
once the washer and dryer are in place
22:37
so behind this very lower drawer in your
22:40
dresser is going to be the waterless
22:41
P-trap for your washer dryer so if you
22:43
have a clog you need to run a snake
22:45
through that wireless P-trap is just
22:47
hand tight so you can remove it run your
22:49
snake through and get the clog out
22:51
so the light switch here is going to be
22:53
for your underbed lights it's a
22:55
three-way switch so you have on off and
22:57
then you can utilize the motion sensors
22:59
as well okay so under your mattress here
23:02
you will have
23:04
underbed storage as well it has your
23:06
comforter and pillows as well in the
23:09
front wardrobe here on the right hand
23:10
side you have the switch for your
23:12
lighted closet rod and on the far left
23:14
you're going to have cordless vac prep
23:15
so there's an outlet there and a backer
23:17
in the wall so you can easily fasten a
23:19
cordless vacuum the easiest way to find
23:21
the backer is just to use a small magnet
23:24
wherever you feel it pulling towards the
23:25
wall you know there's a backer there so
23:27
pairing your photo to the one control is
23:29
really simple you'll download one
23:30
control app from your Android or Apple
23:32
App Store you can either go on there and
23:35
scan this QR code or press the connect
23:37
button it'll show up on the list of
23:40
devices you'll press pair and it'll
23:42
basically take you through the steps on
23:44
how exactly to pair your phone to the
23:46
unit so if the QR code doesn't read or
23:48
the connect button you can manually type
23:50
in the device name here and the password
23:52
there on the sticker just below your
23:54
control panel if you scan this QR code
23:56
again there is a very in-depth video on
23:58
our owner's Hub of all the processes
24:00
walking you through how to pair your
24:01
phone so as we're wrapping up here I
24:03
just want to point out a few general
24:05
maintenance things one the roof get up
24:07
there inspect your seals clean with
24:09
soapy water again with your slide box
24:11
roofs and your awnings we just want to
24:13
make sure that's clean and you guys
24:15
don't have anything to worry about on
24:16
the inside here before you hit the road
24:18
we want to make sure that your reefer is
24:19
locked the glass plate in your microwave
24:21
is stored somewhere where it can't
24:23
doesn't have a chance to break your
24:25
Ottoman and your dinette chairs are
24:26
fastened down in the bathroom that your
24:28
glass doors are locked your toilet paper
24:30
holder is magneted to the wall and then
24:32
in your bedroom that your wardrobe doors
24:35
are shut and locked so for any how to's
24:37
maintenance and any additional
24:39
information you'll be able to find it in
24:40
your owner's manual or our owner's Hub
24:43
on the website and I just want to thank
24:44
you guys again for the purchase of your
24:46
Brinkley RV

Auto-Generated Transcript:

Hey everyone Brennan from Brinkley RV here, I want to thank you for the purchase of your new Brinkley RV. I’m going to be giving you a quick walkthrough of the model Z behind me. Some of the features I’m going to show you will vary depending on floorplan, and if you want any more in depth videos, you can find that on the owners hub on our website.

Question: Where is my LP Quick Connect on the Model Z 3100 for hooking up my grill?
Answer: The exterior LP connection, or hookup, on the 2024 Model Z is just behind your door side baggage door underneath your skirt metal. Reference this video for more details: https://youtu.be/Rer_JIpcwYo?t=23

, you have your LP Quick Connect. And then just on the inside, you have your satellite coax to the left your outlet. Just to the left of that you have your underbody lights and your pass through light switch. And then just below you have the controller for your exteriors speakers in this bag is going to be all the directions to pair your phone. And then just to the right is your hot and cold water hookup. Just to the right are your sliding pass through access doors that are removable. So if you do need to get back there, you do have access, your converter is back there as well, which basically turns your shore power into 12 volt to charge your batteries. If you’re having an issue with that there are two fuses on that that would be a great spot to check. Your water pump is also back there along with the shut offs for your shower. So over here on the other side of the pasture, this is going to be your crank for your manual override of your slide outs and to drop down your spare tire. And in between that is one of two battery disconnects. This is what we call road mode. So it’s going to kill everything but your safety features your solar your jacks in your refrigerator and easy way to tell which one this is is that the battery disconnect here is located a lot further from the battery, the one a lot closer is going to be your kills all which we’ll talk about. So here in your LP compartment, the model Z is going to come with 230 pound tanks one here one on the other side, you can fit 40s And in a pinch, you can fit a 20 pound tank as well. It’s why this bottom strap is so low, your tanks do come equipped with LP IQ, it’s a really simple method to be able to see how much LP you have left in your tank to open and close super simple.
And then over to the right hand side here you will see your leveling jacks one here one on the other side, you do have nice easy access to the manual right up top, you just have a socket on there and you can crank it up or down. So up front, the model Z is going to come with the rhino box fifth wheel hitch over to the side is going to be your breakaway switch. Your main disconnect does have to be on for this to work and you want to make sure that this is hooked up your truck so if anything were to happen, comes off the hitch this is going to lock up your brakes if it pulls away. So on the backhand side here is going to be your seven way connector you want. Again, you want to make sure this is plugged in this is going to control your brake lights, your brakes, and then your backup camera will be powered off of this as well up front and rear bulkhead storage here will open your baggage door and you have two latches up here to hold your baggage door open. Now once we’re in here, on the left hand side, we have our battery box that is recessed and it’s big enough for to group 2 batteries, and then on top or your positive and negative connections as well to make accessing that super easily. Up top, you’ll see the big positive going to your second battery disconnect and that’s going to be your kill all or storage mode to make sure everything’s wiped out when you do put it in storage over to the right hand side is going to be your 50 amp MPPT charge controller that’s going to be run off your solar right here is going to be your battery selection. So if you have AGM you want to select AGM lithium, you want to select lithium super simple. So up here is going to be the brain for your TST tire pressure monitoring system it is banded. If this light is off and you’re having any issues, you can take this cover off and your mini breaker bars behind that, just make sure all your connections are nice and tight. Up above it is going to be our inverter prep. So we have our 12 volt wires, the area for your T fuse. And then over here is your 110 loop that will actually get fastened into the inverter. And on the left hand side is where those two plugs are actually going to connect into to make your inverter work properly. If you need any more in depth videos on the inverter itself, you can go to our owners hub, it’ll give you a nice walkthrough of how exactly to install that inverter. On the right hand side is our generator accessory wiring. So we’re gonna give you the wiring to hook up a generator, you would have to add the Gen box, the gas lines and the exhausts. But we gave you the wiring, which is a big tough part over here is going to be the brain for your slim rack slide mechanism for your bed slide. And if you look closely, it’ll show you all the fault codes and all the flashing numbers. So if you are having an issue with your bedside, you can come in here you can count the amount of flashes and basically it’ll be super easy to troubleshoot just above that is going to be the brain for our leveling system. So if you’re having any issues with something not working, you have 430 amp fuses is is a great spot to check to make sure that all your fuses are alive. Make sure all your connections are tight.

But that will be the brain for your auto level. So that’s going to sum up bulkhead storage. If you guys have any questions or want more in depth videos on how to install or troubleshoot, you can go ahead and go onto our owners hub. And it’ll give you a nice walkthrough on how to operate and troubleshoot anything in this bulkhead storage. Alright, so as we come over to the other side here, I want to point out our two labels here, this is going to show you your weights, it’s going to give you tire specifications, tire pressures, and if you want to learn more about chalking your wheels, torquing, your wheels, anything related to your wheels and tires, you can go in your owner’s manual, there’ll be a certain section, along with our owner’s hub will walk you through all those processes as well, into the LP baggage door here you have your second 30 pound tank, again, you can add a 20 if you get in a pinch, you forget to fill your LP tanks go down to the gas station, you can go ahead and fit that right in here. Here is your two stage LP regulator. So right now we’re pointing to the right, so that’s gonna be your door side tank, with U turn this to the left, it’s going to be this tank here. Right now the label is red. So that means that there’s no lp in the lines, as soon as you fill a tank, turn it on, that’s going to actually go to black, which is going to notify you that there now is lp in the lines up front is going to be your other jackleg as well. And again, you have a nice easy manual override. And you can find that video on the owner hub as well. So when you’re off door, side pass through, you have your leveling screen here. So once you get to your campground, you’re ready to level out your unit, you’re gonna go up front, pull the pin on your two front legs, drop them to your desired height or the ground. So you’re going to power the screen on, and then you’re going to just press the front button, this is going to raise the front end, so you’re able to pull away from the front. So you get into the right height, you pull your truck away, close everything up, all you’re going to do is press auto level, it is going to drop down the rear legs, take the front to a levelled height, it’s going to be good to go. You don’t have to do anything from there, just power the screen off. Once you’re done ready to head home or to your next campsite, you’re going to power the screen on and all you’re going to do is press left and right, this is going to retract the rear Jack’s and take the front end to the same exact height that you pulled your truck away from originally. So it’s called hitch memory, it’s going to make your life super easy. Once you are hooked up, you’re going to go ahead and plot press retract all that is going to raise all the jacks to the right height all the way up, and then you’re good to go. So just on the inside of the baggage door, you do have all the instructions for that control panel. You also can utilize the app on your phone, the one control to level it if you’re up front. And you also can utilize the owner’s hub if you do have any more questions about your auto level. Alright, so on your utility center up top, you’re going to have your two dump valves, your gray on the left Black on the right, you do have a five amp resettable fuse. And if something were to happen on your underbelly, you have a hatch you can drop down and it’s gonna give you direct access to actually mean you will override your valve. So super simple. Down below, you’re gonna have your hot and cold outdoor shower, satellite cable and AUX to your bedroom right here. And just below it are your five controls for the different settings you want to want to do camp wise. So depending on what you’re wanting to do, the picture is going to show you exactly where to put the knobs and there is a nice in depth video on our owners hub on how to operate it to get it to exactly the settings you want. Below is our city water inlet, which is basically going to fill your fresh tank or you can utilize this just to pull from city water over to the right hand side is going to be your black tank flush. So we actually have three types of tanks, you have your fresh, you have your gray, and you have your black. So your grades are going to be your showers your sink, your washer dryer, your black is going to be your waist and your fresh obviously is going to be the freshwater for your sinks and your shower. connected to it is our 65 foot hose, which is retractable pulls out so you don’t have to wind up a hose anymore. If something were to happen, you do have easy access to it. If you pull off this wall, you can replace it you can rewind it whatever you need to do. So just off to the side you have your 110 outlet and then directly below is a QR code that you can scan with your phone which is going to take you to our owner’s hub. And basically it’ll have detailed videos of how exactly to operate our utility center. And then down below in our saddlebag you would turn this row tear. You take this to hook up to city water you can actually run that out of the bottom so you can keep your baggage door closed right here is your fury on On Demand hot water heater and the controller for that is in the bathroom. We’ll get to that here in a little bit. Over to the right is going to be your furnace and these exhaust vents here you want to make sure that these are clean before you go ahead and use your hot water heater and your furnace. So you’re good to go to the right is going to be your 50 amp connection. Down below is your single point for terminating your black and your grey tanks and then to the right is going to be your sewage hose holder. So I’m gonna be showing you how to hook up the 50 amp power cord. It is stored in your front bulkhead storage. So I got on the ground here I’m gonna go ahead and unwind it. Take this and that’s going to go into your unit and before you plug it in, make sure you completely
He unwind the cord. You’ll pop open the cover of your 50 amp and you’ll see these little knobs right on there. So you’ll find your locator. Pop it in there and you’re gonna rotate it to the right. And then twist your locking cap on.
Good to go. Then you’ll take the other end, go to your 50 amp hookup, plug it in and you should be good to go. So before you run your slide outs in, you want to make sure that your sidewalls are clean. Your wiper seals are clean. There’s no obstructions on your roof. Make sure there’s no sticks anything get up there, wipe it off cleaning your wiper seals, you can use soapy water. Same with your slide out and walls making sure those are nice and clean. And now coming back on your fender skirt here you can see a cut out this is going to be access to manually override your door side slide out, you’ll have two more accesses over there, one for this slide. And then to drop your spare tire down the crank to manually override these is actually in your pass through was over by your second battery disconnect. So now that we’ve made it to the back of the coach, we have a rear storage on this model. And that is going to vary depending on the floor plan but on the 3100 it does have it just below we have our two inch receiver hitch it’s rated for 300 pounds carry and 3000 pounds towing and you have your floor way flat here that you can use to hook up to a trailer or a bike rack that has lights off to the right you have your ladder to access the roof it is rated for 250 pounds. So this is gonna lie eat up there, check your seals, check your vents just make sure everything’s good to go before you start your trip. So up top you’ll have your fury on backup camera. It’s powered by your battery and your seventh way when you’re hooked up to the truck. And it does come with a seven inch screen that you can put in the cab of your truck so you can view what’s going on going down the road. So as I mentioned on the other side for the manual overrides this one is going to be for the override for your off door side slide out and then this cutout will be to drop down your spare tire for any in depth videos of how to override your slides or drop your spare tire down you can go ahead and find that on our owners hub on the website. Alright, so now that we’ve made to your campsite, I have one of our awnings out, you can use your smart control center to operate it or the app on your phone. We got it out I’ll show you how to tilt it. I’m going to pull the leg down and then you’re going to tighten that screw. So if it sprinklin The water’s going to roll off one side not pull up in the middle. When it comes to running a man make sure they’re clean, dry and then you’re good to go and retract them if it’s a windy day and your awning is flapping up and down make sure to retract your awning so you don’t have to worry about any issues. So here at the entrance door you’ll see you do have keyless entry, it will come with redundant keys as well. So you can utilize that it will come preset with a code that you can find in our manual and you can change it to whatever it is you desire. On the inside, you have your screen defender, your screenshot and your screen assist along with the blackout shade on the door
on the inside, we will go ahead and fold out your access steps.
Flip down the steps you’re good to go in and the handrail it is pinned for transit you got to make sure that you do that. Pop it out and you’re good to go. And this pin can store in one of the drawers on the inside. So on the entrance steps your legs are adjustable. So depending on the elevation, you can pull this pin you can extend or retract the legs on your steps. Now let’s go in and check out the inside. So behind this door just as you walk in the entrance door is going to be your smart command center. So this is going to show you your tank levels your battery percentage along with a handful lights awning ceiling scare, water pump tank heater down below are going to be your awning controls and then your slide controls as well. So just below that you have another QR code which is going to again take you to the owner sign up and walk you through videos pertaining everything in this area. Below you have your dimmer switch for the main living room area off to the right is going to be your max air fan controller which is directly above your stove and then your battery monitor here which is going to tell you your percentage and then the voltage of your battery as well. So inside the door here you have the sticker for our Safe Ride 24/7 roadside assistance call that number it’ll basically walk you through everything just below is going to be the pairing codes for your speakers. And for the inside one there’s nothing you have to turn on. It’s going to just show up in your Bluetooth settings as br v z and then the last four of your VIN alright so here and your dinette slide. Depending on our floor plans, you may have a four person dinette like this maybe a booth right now we just have the dinette so you have your ottoman over here which is removable. R&D HITS THE ROAD

We are living the RV lifestyle alongside you by hitting the road in one of the Model Z prototypes long before production starts. These real-world adventures help us refine our RVs based on Camper feedback & our camping experiences.

IN THEIR WORDS

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING

We don’t want to feel like we’re in a camper, and this (Model Z 3100) feels very residential, and that’s why I’m loving the Brinkley.

Every single experience with Brinkley has been phenomenal. The Z3100 is built with quality and durability from the floors to the cabinets and all the way to the roof. No small detail has been left out, and we love that the owners listen to the customer’s ideas.
But – the best part is the people who are Brinkley.

I have worked on many RV’s and none have been as well built and well organized as the Brinkley Model Z. The electrical system is set up to be easy to customize for the individual owner’s needs. Access to wiring and wire routing is straightforward and neat. Well Done, Brinkley.

Just ordered the Brinkley 3100 Model Z. Couldn’t be more pleased with the coach design, finishes, and craftsmanship. The company is proud of the product and stands behind it should there be any concerns.

This new company and rig (Z3100) exceeded our expectations and then some… so we decided to buy it from Walnut Ridge in Indiana. The videos (Josh and others) were great, but experiencing it in person was simply amazing.
